must close form to update info

i have a subform based on a query(it's used as a
calculator), when a clients end date is entered into the
enddate field, there are follow-up dates calculated (i
used a dateadd). I put this on the form, so the user can
see when a follow-up is needed.

The problem is when a end date is entered, the follow-up
dates don't show, the user has to close the form and
reopen it so that the dates will show. how can i fix this
problem.

In the AfterUpdate event code of the End Date control, add the code:

Me.Requery

That should do it for you.

i tried this and it didn't work. The enddate to be
entered is in a different subform. so when they enter the
enddate, they are suppose to click on the scheduled follow-
up dates subform and the dates should come up,but its not
working.
