Must start vs Can start

I have a situation where I have two tasks, with a different resource
assigned to each. I want the tasks to start when both resources are
available. I tried a StoS link, but that gives me effectively a NET
condition on the successor. What I'm looking for is a simultaneous NET and
NLT based on resource availability. Is there anyway to model this in
Project?

Thanks.

Hi Ken,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You're out of luck :( This has been often requested - maybe in the next
version? You could try adding a 1000 priority to both tasks and provided
there are no other priority tasks that high, levelling using
Priority,Standard could keep them together.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))
