My 2000 version of Outlook tells me I am missing WAB.DLL

I reinstalled it on my new laptop along with Office. It is the only one that
will not work. When I try to import my contacts it gives this error message.
I reinstalled it twice, but it gives the same message. What do I do to fox
it?

Message is probably correct. What version of Windows and Outlook Express are
you using? Outlook 2000 IMO needs both to run. It uses Outlook Express
engines, not Outlook.

Ms Office Professional 2000 with Outlook (not Outlook Express). I had to
install that on the replacement PC after the old one crashed. I did not
realize the problem. Suggestion on installing Outlook Express in order to
access the contacts? Is it available at Microsoft.com?
I really appreciate your fast response.

OE is installed by default with your operating system. Only you might know
why it was not.

Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode is not compatible with Vista, which,
since you say "new laptop", I'm assuming you have. Switch it to
Corporate/Workgroup mode and you may have better luck.
