My 2003 form will not open in 2007

My company has an access 2003 database application complete with multiple
forms, reports, etc, which we have used for several years. We recently
purchased a couple of new workstation which have access 2007 installed. When
I start our 2003 database, from one of these workstations, the startup form
appears momentarily then disappears. I can open the startup form in design
view but not in form view, other forms will open in form view when selected
from the nav window. I have searched help topics, looked into security
setting, researched differences between 2003 and 2007 but unable to find a
reason for this or a solution. Help!

hi
at least you've narrowed the search down to the startup form. still without
seeing what's in that form, i dont think anyone will be able to help you
Erez.

I may have discovered a solution. There is a macro that runs at startup
setting several controls on the form. The macro ran with the Open Event. I
moved this to the Activate Event, and now it appears to work. Still testing,
and curious why this would make any difference.
