My at symbol for e mail won`t work

I have many times tried to figure out why i cannot get my
at symbol on my microsoft office keyboard to work. I
have gone to my control panel and that did not work.can
you please get back to me and try to help me out.

Is it only in Office that it does not work? What about notepad?

What versions of Windows/Office are you running? What is your keyboard
language? Does any other symbol appear in its place?
