my autoshapes are missing in Word 2003

I had to have the hard drive replaced in a CPU. The IT department loaded
Office 2003 SP2 in its entirety (so I was told -- everything looks to be
here). I then installed all the Windows and Office updates to bring it up to
speed. I started using Word and noticted that there are no autoshapes
available on the Drawing toolbar. Any idea of how to get them back? Do I have
to reinstall Word? What there a HotFix that should have not been installed?
I've looked all over the Microsoft knowledge base and haven't found anything
applicable. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
