Can someone shed some light please. I made a template in word it is a form that has multiple dropdown selections. What I would like to do in access is open this word template, Add an address which is in the current access form, close the word form, Protect it for forms and save it in a specified file that is named using the address off the access form. I can code the save to a specified file within access but I donot know how to reference the open word document. I can merge the data I want but it I get errors that I cannot use the current database since it is open.
