My business contact history information is missing

I am trying to run Outlook Business Contact Manager 2003 with Windows XP but
two problems continually arrise and I keep having to reinstall the software.
The first is that every couple of days the contact opens as a normal contact
form rather than a business contact one, with all the linked information
missing. The second is that when I actually manage to open the form
successfully, the business contact history is sometimes completely missing
including all my notes, info from business meetings etc. In place of all
emails which I have sent to the party is simply my inbox. I have now spent
three hours on the phone and downloaded every upgrade in the book, all to no
avail. Can anyone help?

This is usually caused by a forms cache corruption. Use the following steps
to resolve the problem.

1. In Outlook, go to Tools and choose Options.
2. Choose the Other tab.
3. Click Advanced Options
4. Click Custom Forms
5. Click Manage Forms
6. Click Clear Cache.

This happened to me too. Got the same response to my posting, but the "fix"
did not work.

Working directly with Microsoft. Here's what we had to do. Not sure if
this is the same as your issue.

1 Go to Help pull down
2 Select About Microsoft Office Outlook
3 Select Disabled Items
4 Here we found the BCM disable.
5 Select the disable app and click on Enable
6 Exited Outlook
7 Lunched it again and found my existing history unchanged

Hope you issue was fixed with the Cache solution. If not try what I've
posted.
