Dearest Word Forum,

My copy of word quits whenever I try to load it up. The report screen info is below. Any help, tips, or advice on how to fix the problem would be appreciated.

As payment, I will write your username on a post it note, which will be attached to the cork board near my desk. Consider it an induction in to some kind of hall of fame :)

It looks like -- in addition to running a version of Office that was
actually designed pre-OS X --you haven't kept the version updated... 10.1.0
is way out of date. If the most current updates aren't applied there is no
way it will operate in the more current versions of the OS.

Even though v.X was deprecated more than 2 years ago & is no longer
supported you can still obtain the last update (10.1.9) from the following
web page. I can't assure you that you won't still have some degree of
misbehavior or how long it will continue to operate even with that update
applied, but in Tiger you should be OK for a while longer.
