My Date Navigator has disappeared. How do I get it back?

On my Outlook 2000, my Date Navigator has disappeared when I'm in the
calendar views. It doesn't matter whether I'm in 1, 5 or 7 day view or the
one month view, I cannot see the calendar preview that used to show a couple
of months so you could navigate through the dates. My task list doesn't show
up either, but that isn't a crisis.

I've read the Knowledge Base questions about the task list not showing up,
but this isn't an issue of screen size. I'm running at 1280 x 1024 and even
expanded full screen, it doesn't show up.

I've checked to make sure that it's not an issue of it getting resized to
nothing as best I can. I do get a resize arrow when I'm at the right hand
side of the calendar display, however, moving the mouse doesn't make anything
resize.

I'm an experienced Outlook user (6 years) and haven't had this problem before.

Thanks!

I am not at my office where we use Outlook 2000, still!!! - but do you have
an option under the View menu to see the taskpad? Does checking this option
bring it back?

If not, try starting Outlook one time with the /cleanviews switch.

Move the cursor slowly to the top of the TaskPad and when it changes to
arrows, drag downwards. If the Date Navigator is off the right side of the
screen, do the same at the right edge of the screen.
