My date reverts back to 2002 every time I turn off

How do I stop the date reverting back to 2002. Even changing it in the
control panel it still reverts back each time I turn off. How can I bring it
into 2008

This is not a problem related to Microsoft Office. It is most likely
caused by your computers CMOS battery having died. You can change it
yourself or have a shop do it for you. See link below.

If you mean your system date, then first check the date shown in the system
bios, how you do that depends on your PC, often its a case of pressing Del
as the system boots, but it maybe a different key.
It could also mean your cmos battery is/has failed, on the motherboard
