My Day: The new Clippy?

How do I drive a stake through the heart of My Day? I have removed everything Microsoft from my login items. I have set the My Day preference to not launch at login. I have deleted all com.microsoft.* preference files.

And My Day starts every login. I have stopped using Entourage because it completely screwed up my calendar on the Exchange server, and so My Day isn't getting new info, and is useless to me.

Must I uninstall Office? At this point, I'd be happy to not follow through with the reinstall.

I can't even open Word without it summoning My Day. I do not want My Day to appear until there's a fix for Entourage and its syncing issues with iCal.

How can My Day be turned off?

How can My Day be turned off?

A brute force method: right-click or Control-click the My Day
application and create a compressed archive. Keep the archive in place
of My Day. Delete the original application (empty the Trash).

If this causes problem or you want My Day back then just double-click
the archive to expand My Day back in place.

Hope this helps!
