My Day

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I recently purchased a Mac. Wonderful. I had them install Microsoft 2008 Home and Student for mac. For the first two weeks I had My Day on the desk top. Then it disappeared. The My Day icon is sitting in the menu bar of the Entourage program. I have tried everything to active the My Day and nothing works. I have tried to drag it to the desk top but that does not work either.

I want My Day back, I really miss it.

Can you help?

The menu bar icon should have a Show MyDay command. Does it??
If not, try pressing Ctrl-M. It shold re-activate the MyDay window.

Try opening My Day by double clicking on the actual application:

"/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/My Day.app"

If that does not work, then we need to determine if it's your Identity, your
User's folder (most likely prefs), your Office install or problems with
files in the OS like launch.

Steps to help determine where the problem is located.

1) you can eliminate your Identity by creating a new Identity in Entourage
and see if you experience the same problem.

2) if a new Identity still exhibits the same issues, then create a new User
in System Preferences and test Entourage there.

Let me know what your test show.
