My Documents "Files"

There are a number of files in "My Documents," each 512
bytes in size, each with a hex name (lowest
is "0A152000," highest is "FE565000"), each with File
Type "File."

What function do they perform and why are they there?

FYI, I upgraded from Win ME to Win XP Pro.
