My Documents has changed

All of the files in My Documents have changed format, with a lot of computer speak at the bottom. All tables, forms, and music are now "computer speak". Why did this happen and how can I fix it?

What has this to do with Office? Suggest you repost in a group relevant to
your operating system. My Documents may be where your Office files are
stored, but that doesn't mean it has anything to do with Office - it
doesn't.

Hi, Rujeka. If you are referring to Word documents having a bunch of extra gibberish at the end of the document when you open them, this is usually caused by having "Files of type" in the File>Open dialog set to "Recover text from any file". When you click on File>Open, make sure the "Files of type" is set to "All Word documents" or "All files". Hope this helps.
