my e-mail does not have the "From" list anymore how do i get it

I used to have a "From" list on my e-mail headings, now I only see "Subject",
"Received", and "Size". I dont know who my e-mails are from anymore and
would like to see so that I know if I want to open it or not.

Any suggestions?

If you're talking about the From column in the Inbox, you can either reset
the view (or make sure it's set to Messages -- maybe you switched views), or
use the Field Chooser to add the From field back to the view.
