My email was returned because a quota violation

An Outlook 2003 account is not receiving emails and the sender is getting a
notice saying this is because of a "552 quota violation". What is a 552 quota
violation?

It means the mailbox is full...it has exceeded its quota that is set by the
ISP/Mail Service provider. It's not an Outlook issue.
