My emails have an attachment symbol with no attachment

My Outlook emails have an attachment symbol however, the email has no
attachment and does not appear to be sent with an attachment. this is
happening to many emails I receive throughout the day.

Do the emails contain signatures somewhere in the email? This is normal
behavior when images/signatures are embedded in the message body.

Each email you receive might have something like "certified clean by AVG
using database xxx.xx on dd/mm/yyy"
