My Excel not working

I havent used my Excel2003 for 3 months, now i am having trouble using it.
I can type in box A1 and tab to next box. but when I move cursor and press
to select a box ,it wont let me do anything, not even typing into box.Whats
wrong with it. I have saved charts and I cannot amend them now. HELP Please.
