My files with the extension .zip mysteriously changed one day.

I would like to know how to get my files to play and be stored as they where
originally.

My files with the extension .zip mysteriously changed one day. And they try
to open in the media center. So I attempted to change them back and asked
them to open with media player, but I get the following error message:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

When I downloaded the mp3 files (audio bible) they were saved on my computer
in a zip file folder, i.e. Genesis.zip I would open that .zip file and all of
the books of Genesis would be in that file folder, and I would select the
chapter I needed to listen to.
I tried to download them all again, but no dice the same thing happens… Can
anyone help?

Thanking you in advance

Create a folder. Drag the zip to the folder, right-click the zip, click WinZip,
click expand to here. This is a far better way to play your files.

Right-click any mp3 file, properties, opens with...change, select the Media
Player.
