My filies keep getting set up as a Read only. How do I get rid o.

My filies keep getting set up as a Read Only file. I don't tell it to do it
and don't know how to change it or stop it

Are you saving them to your local drive? Does this still happen if you start
Word in Safe Mode? Use Start, Run and type in

winword /a

and press enter. Create a document, save it and close it. Now try opening
it. Is it OK?
