My follow up reminders do not remind me

I have read a lot of these comments and I found my question but cannot find
the correct answer, here it goes hopefully someone can help me:
Ok I use outlook office 2003, when I enter a task and say Due By: (date) and
flag it to remind me, a reminder will then pop upw when that day and time
comes, so I know my reminders are turned on and working... NOW when I receive
an e-mail I flag it to remind me about it in lets say one week, it then shows
up in my "For Follow Up" folder in my favorites, but a reminder box WILL NOT
pop up (like the tasks do). So when I click on the For Follow Up folder all
the e-mails will be in there with red writting (meaning it's past the
reminder date)
This is very annoying and can get me in trouble at work!!

Your best assistance would be if you post to an Outlook support newsgroup,
Kara. This newsgroup supports the OneNote program only, and you can have
the Outlook MVPs give you some help in the correct group.
