My font letters got screwed up! Help!

While proofreading my resume, the very tops and very bottoms of my font
typeface letters disappear. For example, in the word:

Field

....in bold Times New Roman size 14, you can barely see the top of the F (I'd
say there are about 4 or so pixels of missing space). Also, the blinking
cursor is cut off at the top as well.

This is slightly noticeable, and very very unprofessional. I assume that
somebody changed the cursor height or letter height or something. How do I
fix it (without redoing the whole document)?

Ummm... more information please! Should I check under "Indents and Spacing"
or "Line and Page Breaks"? If "Indents and Spacing," what should all the
values be?

Line spacing, try single.
