My fonts will not save to the fonts folder

When I add fonts to my folder it wont let me keep the box checked to save to
the fonts folder. So when I shut down my computer and reboot I need to redo
the prosses of adding a font. They are still saved for me to add them but
just disappear when I shut my computer down. Help!

Not an Office isse but...how are you "saving" them? Fonts need to be
installed.
