My Highlight Scrolls Too Quickly!

I have Word 2000. Anytime I try and highlight a long
section in a document that require me to scroll down, my
highlight goes too quickly that it highlights to the end
of the document. How can i set my control to scroll
slower when highlighting? Thanks!

You cant click were you want to start and then use the elevator slide bar on
th right hand side to move where you want to place the cursor to click and
stop.

Click at one end of the desired selection. Use the slider on the vertical
scroll bar to bring the other end in view and Shift+click there.
