My Home/Student 2007 box says it needs XP- will it work on VISTA?

I bought Office Home and Student 2007 and didn't read all the fine print on
the box until I got home. The box says it needs Windows XP. One of my
computers has XP but the other one is a new VISTA machine. Before I open the
box, I need to know if it will run on both operating systems or if I need to
return it and buy a different version. One salesperson I called to ask said
it would work on both systems but a second salesperson said I need an Office
Home and Student 2007 version designed for VISTA and that the one I have
won't work on VISTA. I couldn't find a direct answer on the support help
site. Can someone help me out on this?

Thanks for the answer - also the retailer suggestion - I bought it at a COMP
USA store that had closed down when I called them again a week later!

Thank you for the answer - OHS2007 did in fact install fine on both OS's. It
seemed obvious it should work with VISTA but the conflicting stories from the
sales staff was troubling, so I really appreciated getting positive replies
before I tried it.

"or later operating system" there includes Vista. So yes, it will run on
Vista. I wish MS would make this more clear by just spellling it out -- not
everyone knows that Vista is a "later operating system."
