my hotmail calendar is not the same

My hotmail calendar is not the same as the calendar in outlook even though it
appears to be correct

the hotmail calendar is not being updated the events/ apppointments are not
being transferred from outlook to hotmail.
yet the outlook calendar tab says that it is the hotmail calendar

in the lower right corner of outlook is an status button for the connector -
click it and see what is says.
