My Hyperlinks don't show color change 1st time I return to slide

I've got a Game Show like powerpoint show, and when you click on one of
multiple numbers (each hyperlinked to a later slide) on the slide it takes
you to a question. After that slide is the answer. On the answer slide is a
button that takes you back to the first slide with all the numbers.

In the past version of Powerpoint, when I came back to this slide, the
hyperlink would be colored to indicate it had been clicked on. Now in Office
2007 the link doesn't change until the 2nd time I come back to the slide.

I don't see this problem. The colors change the first time for me.

Here's a jeopardy powerpoint link that's on the web - I have the same issue
with it as I do with my powerpoint...

http://www.jmu.edu/madison/teacher/jeopardy/Jeopardy1.ppt

Go to the first slide, press F5, click on the $10 in the first column, and
then click on the back arrow. It brings you back to the first slide, but it
doesn't show that you've clicked on the $10. Try the same $10 a second time,
and when you come back it shows the link has been clicked.

You are absolutely right, and I can't figure out why. Everything that I
create myself works just as it is supposed to, but the presentation you
reference above works fine in 2003 and not in 2007. For my experiments,
I tried creating things in 2007 as well as creating things in 2003 and
running them in 2007. I could not get it to fail. I'll see what I can
find out.

David:

Thanks for the verification. It's so appreciated to know that it's not my
install or PC that's causing the issue.

I'd rather not recreate the presentation, so any details as to what causing
the issue would be appreciated!

Here are a couple of things to try, but I am not confident they will
work:

(1) Make sure that you have a MS certified printer driver installed. See
this for more details:

PowerPoint 2007 text editing slow, text cut off, text display or
formatting problems, print, crash problems
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00850.htm

(2) Try turning back graphics hardware acceleration. See:

How to set graphics hardware acceleration back

David:

Sorry - I didn't see your post until just today. I tried the two suggetions
you made, but neither solved the issue. I think's it's a video refresh issue
in Powerpoint 2007 - any chance to get this kicked over to the folks at MS?

I tried kicking to the MS folks and didn't get any response.
