My internet account password is not stored in Outlook 2003? why?

hi
my password is not stored (even i checked the Remember Password in Internet
Account configuration), while im using to send & receive email.

It popup an window as: Enter Network Password as window title, Server as: My
ISP Pop address, User name as: My email id of ISP, and i typed that password
(Also checked the "Save this password in your Password List").

i can able to receive the messages. but if i close or minimize or as it is,
it checks the internet, again asking the same which i mentioned above. How
can i permanently save my email password.

This error is coming suddenly. im not configured anything in my outlook 2003.

Anyone pls give me the solution.
