My keyboard freezes when I use Entourage

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel My keyboard freezes when I am using Entourage. It happens each time I use it. Occasionally, if I click on another window or the desktop and then return to Entourage, it works again. But this doesn't always get around the problem. I sometimes have to quit Entourage and restart it. This freezing happens every time I use Entourage and my keyboard is able to work just fine in other programs that are running simultaneously (eg, Firefox, Microsoft Word, etc). It is maddening.
