my @ -keypad does not work, why?

If I press my @ keypad then it does not work, it shows a """""". instead of
the @
..why?

No clue, Judith, except perhaps you've set an Fn key on something. Without
knowing what computer you have or what operating system you're running it is
very difficult to assist you. I'd suggest you contact the support section
for your computer manufacturer, look in the documentation which came with
it, or - if you're running Windows XP - post to the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup with full details. This
newsgroup supports the OneNote program, not keyboard issues.

It depends on the keyboard layout, yours is probably English(UK) or
something. To change it open control panel, regional options, languages tab -
click Details button and review/change what keyboard layouts you have
enabled. Windows automatically adds a kbd layout to match your User Locale.
