Add the account again through Control Panel-> Mail. Ask your admin for the
settings.

Thanks! --But I tried that. Even through Control Panel --> Mail, the only
options I have to add a profile account back are either POP3 or IMAP. Any
ideas?

Create a completely new Mail Profile.

How to Add a User Profile
Use the following steps to add a user profile to your computer: 1. Click
Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Mail icon.
3. Click Show Profiles.
4. In the Mail dialog box, click Add.
5. Follow the prompts of the Inbox Setup Wizard.

Start --> Settings --> My Computer --> Mail:
The problem I have, is that beside that there is no "Show Profiles" in my
Mail menu. (I am using Windows 2000 Pro)
I can hit Add. However, it prompts me to:
1) Add the Display Name (no problem here), click Next.
2) Add the E-mail account (no problem here), click Next.
3) *** Now I have to choose between:
"My incoming mail server is a " and my only choices are POP3 or IMAP.
--> Here my the problem, as with either choice I have to specify Incoming
mail server (POP3 or IMAP) and Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
I have not found a way around this. I checked a couple of my other laptops
and
pc's and only two are exhibiting this problem and cooincidentally the two
problem
childs both had the original Exchange account deleted. The rest of my
computers
display the option to add the Exchange account. ??? Thanks!!!

You see, it really helps providing more info like version of Outlook and
steps to reproduce. We could have solved this at first post then.
