My Mind Has Left Me

In Cell A1 I have the number 1.
In Cell A2 I have this: 0.90930
Cell A3 I entered : a1*a2.
The answer I get is: 0.89.
I want the answer .91.
What am I forgetting?

View more decimal places and you might find out that 1 is actually something like 0.979.

Did you type those numbers into A1 and A2, or are they the result of calculations? If the
latter, the formatting may be tricking you as to the number that's actually in the cell.
