My normal.dot has disappeared

Suddenly I cannot access my normal.dot anymore and can't even find it. It
appears when I search for it (DocumentsSettings/myname/Application
Data/Microsoft/Templates/normal.dot), but I can't access it. Has anyone had a
similar experience? Thanks Bruno
