my office 2003 can not update itself for 2 months now

for 2 moths now my office 2003 -outlook excell, power point word can not
update itself. at first the computer asked me to increase the virtual memory
which I did bt now my whole compuetr is so slow cant even close I have to us
the power button to close

Peter,

It sounds like you may have some memory issues on your computer. How much
is shown as free? Also, try cleaning out your temp folder (c:\windows\temp,
c:\winnt\temp or c:\temp), running a scandisk and defragmentation to clean
up your system.

Any luck there?
