My office clipboard won't paste or collect from Explorer

I have two problems that must be related. The first one to appear was that
suddenly my office clipboard stopped collecting the material I was copying
off the net with internet explorer. The most recent copy was available to
paste, but the earlier ones were not being collected on the office clipboard.

Now things have gotten worse. Though the clipboard will collect items that
I copy in Word, all but the first one is unavailable. I cannot paste the
second or third from the top, and if I delete the top one, I cannot paste
anything.

Start by clearing your Internet temp cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.
You could do a disk clean-up too.
