My Office icons have changed and I can't restore them.

All of a sudden, all icons on my desktop and start menu reverted to the same
generic icons. Most of them could be restored by right clicking the icon and
resetting it in "properties: change icon." I am not offered that option in
any of the Office programs (Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.). I'd like my icons
back.
