My outgoing new messages won't send. Only replies will send.

I have Office Pro 2007 and everything has worked fine until two days ago. My
outgoing new email's won't send; however, if I reply to an email, then it
will send. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Instead of stating what doesn't happen, it's more helpful to state exactly
what does happen when you try to send. Errors? Event log entries?
