Normally in Outlook 2000, with Folder List showing, if you right click on a
Personal Folder and select Properties, there's a button labelled 'Advanced'.
From there you can rename, set encryption, and compact. But on my
installation the Advanced button is not there, and I'd really appreciate any
clue as to how to get back. Google searches have drawn a blank so far.
As a test I logged in as Administrator and opened Outlook. (Previously I'd
not opened Outlook for that user). This generated a new personal file for
Administrator but this too has no Advanced button. As a 'last resort' I
completely uninstalled Office Small Business 2000, and then reinstalled it.
But *still* there's no Advanced button. The setup is Office 2000 Small
Business in IMO mode running on fully-patched XP.
