My OUTLOOK 2007 Inbox does not have my e-mails

O.K. here goes I installed Office 2007 over 2003. Now when the auto
"send/receive" goes out and retrieves my e-mails; and it does, there are no
entries in the "Inbox"... Even though there are entries in the Junk e-mail
folder from today's downloads. I can see like 8 of 25 e-mails being D/L...
but where does it go??? It is only this one folder and there are no rules in
place as this is a fresh install over 2003???? PLEASE ANYBODY have any
ideas???
It also appears and I have checked that it does send out e-mails but what
incoming folder is being used???
