My outlook appearance has changed with the addition of a 2nd monit

I have added an identical monitor to my set up for work, but when I began to
work I noticed the buttons and general appearance of my Outlook had changed.
A better way of describing the change is what Windos ME did to Windows 98.
It just made the buttons pretty. My Calendar has changed as well to the
point to where it is hard to tell which day I am in. The Monitor is Identical
in every way and when I unplug the 2nd monitor it reverts back to what I like
to call "pretty mode". Let me know if anyone out there knows of a way to get
my settings to be the same in both set ups, I would really appreciate it and
so would my 2 IT co workers who are absolutely stumped at this little dilema.

- Thanks,
XRCX

In Control Panel / Display, play with the resolution settings, you can set
them on both monitors.

Version of outlook?
Is 'pretty' smaller/larger buttons with better resolution or like windows xp
colors compared to win98/2000?

Ok. Are you using large icons? View, toolbars, customize - large icons are
on the last tab.
What resolution are you using on the monitors?

Diane,
I am not using large icons.
Here is a short list of what I have done just to double check that I am not
missing anything.
I have switched monitors and yet the same thing happens.
They are both Dell E196FP on ATI FireGL V3100 with the same resolution of
1280x1024. They have both the same settings as well as refresh rates of 75
Hertz.
Color quality Highest (32 bit). The funny thing is that as soon as I
"un-attatch" the 2nd monitor and this goes for either one. The settings
return to normal. I am continuously working with our IT team trying to
figure this out, but they just have never seen anything like this. Thanks
for the help, I really do appreciate it.
