my outlook connector was uninstalled with update to outlook 2007

Even though I told the install of Office 2007 to keep previous versions,
installation killed my previous version of outlook and removed my hotmail
e-mail account (which I recovered) but it uninstalled the connector and I
cannot now download my contacts and calendar from MSN premium.

Questions:
can connector work with Outlook 2007?
where can I find my calendar/contacts info on my hard drive?
