My Outlook now doesn't get my email..."Forbidden" error comes up.

For some reason...Outlook tells me I can't access my email. "Forbidden
access" error code. I can still see my contacts, calendar, etc. The password
box for outlook that normally pops up...is not popping up...so Outlook is not
asking for my password as it normally does...therefor it is not connecting.
I can still get my email on hotmail via IE, but can't get it through
Outlook...which I prefer. I did not change anything in my settings. I have
tried shutting down my anti virus (Avast), but that did not help. Any
suggestions?? Thanks

Are you using the Outlook Connector to connect to your Live Hotmail account?

I am getting the exact same problem, I much prefer to access emails through
outlook rather than logging into hotmail. I too did not change any settings,
i have since gone in and removed the HTTP from outlook and re added it to
outlook with no success. I can still access via hotmail, but the box that
would usually pop up to verify with password isnt popping up. WHen i click
send and receive it is coming up with 'forbidden' error.
Help please someone?

Did you not search this group at all? Did you not see any of the warning
emails from MS about this?

And you HAVE followed the instructions in the two replies that were posted
at the very latest four minutes BEFORE you posted this?

outlook,
