You are on the right track. Test your site using various
browers. Also test your site using various screen
resolution settings.
Web page design, you will learn, involves tradeoffs. Your
end result will not be perfect on any one browser and
resolution but hopefully it will look pretty good in all.
You should also avoid using "features" that are not
universally supported on all the broswers. For instance,
many folks start to use absolute positioning when there
pages start to move around. Absolute positioning is not
supported equally on all browsers so it will be generally
suggested by folks on this newsgroup that it not be used.
I looked at your site and respectfully I have one
comment. I think your font size is too small. It gives
the impresion you are trying to cram a whole lot of
content into one screen's worth of real estate. If you
read books on publishing (web or printed), they will
preach "white space" (the empty space between text and
other content) as a design element. You might want to
take one of your pages, create a copy of it and play
around with white space and see what you and others think
about that versus what you now have.
I hopes this helps. Practice. Practice. Practice!
is very different. So of the words aren't there. My
tables are expaned so it messes up the rest off the
page. But I think this is cause by a font change on my
my computer. I changed the defulalt font on my computer
(regretting it now...). I have another computer in my
house and it views slightly distorted in IE and perfect
in Mozilla. My website is www.bgclan.com.
