My password doesn't work in Outlook Express.

I tried going to "File" and re-typing my password in but still couldn't
access OE. Then I went to "Tools" and "Accounts", typed in password, even
tried changing password (couldn't because it wouldn't accept old password),
then closed OE, restarted OE but still couldn't open it. This started last
night about 10pm when an email to my sister was returned to me. I shut down
the computer all the way last night, turned it on this morning thinking that
it needed time to think, but got the same results. Turned it off again when
I went to work, turned it on again this evening, scanned OE with AVG and
MS-Anti-spyware (beta version), but got the same results. OE would not
accept my password. It's the same one I use on three OE accounts. One
account works with the password; the other two don't. I also checked my Zone
Alarm settings for Outlook Express. I don't think Zone Alarm is blocking
Outlook because I didn't receive any notification from Zone Alarm about OE.

I have also had problems with Outlook Express for a few months (2 or 3)
showing the attachment sign to the left of ALL incoming messages, but there
is no attachment. I have no idea what that is. I'm using SBC global.net for
ISP and occasionally they tell me they blocked a message because it had
NETSKY-### attached. I just delete those; I never open them. I'm going to
try Lavasoft now until I receive an answer from you guys.

Please help if you have any advice. Thank you so much.

Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
