My pictures won't move from the top of the page. How do I fix it?

I am typing up the family Christmas letter in Microsoft Word, and inserting
pictures within the text so that everyone can see what we've been up to. I
typed up most of the letter, then started inserting pictures. Everything was
going great, until I got to the second page. The pictures are stuck at the
top of the page, and won't move any farther down in the text. I changed the
type of "text wrapping" to just about everything, and looked under "Format
Picture" for clues of what's going on, but can't seem to find anything! If
this has happened to anyone before, or if you have any suggestions of what
the problem might be, I am willing to try anything! Thank you!

Hi,
I suggest that you first write the complete letter and where you want to
insert a picture you leave a space of a few lines. After you finish the
letter, go back to
the spots for the pictures, place the mouse cursor between the lines and
insert
your pictures one by one.
