my powerpoint handouts are only printing the titles, not the text

i am trying to print handout copies (6 slides per page) of my Powerpoint, but
for some slides in the presentation only the slide title appears on the
handout page, not the bulleted text underneath it. How can i get the text to
print for every slide on the handout page?
