It turns out that there is some conflict between Windows Media Player and the
projector plug and play. Couldn't resolve what the core issue was, but I was
getting "Windows has recovered from a serious error" messages. It pointed to
a device driver conflict, but was not any more specific. After uninstalling
Media Player, the conflict stopped. I put a trouble message into Microsoft.
Boxlight was clueless, and Sony (the maker of my laptop) simply replied that
it wasn't their problem.
Don't ya just love tech support?

Thanks for the feedback; I checked my power settings. Drives are set
to
never
shut down. I tried a test that seems to point to the projector as
being
the
problem. I set up the presentation without linking the projector. The
presentation stayed active. Once I linked the projector to the system, the
presentation shut down in a few minutes, causing the same issue as
before.
I
suspect my next call is to the Boxlight people!

My presentations have been going into sleep mode during the actual
presentation. I've never seen this problem before, and I have to reboot
the
computer to get the presenation back online. Any idias out there?
I think Centrino drives often do this, especially if you're running the
presentation from a CD.
What kind of computer are you working on? Have you turned off all power
management settings that might turn off the drives or monitors after a
period of inactivity?
