my product key is not correct

How many product keys are there? I only see one on a sticker on the bottom of
my laptop. It says product key, and there are 25 characters. I have typed it
over and over when it prompts me to upon starting word and excel. It says it
is incorrect every time.Its frusterating and I need help.

Sascha,
This doesn't sound like a question that has anything to do with
Microsoft Project, a planning and scheduling application.
Questions/issues on that application is the sole purpose of this
newsgroup.

I suggest you either post to a general Windows newsgroup or better
still, talk to the business/person that sold you the laptop.

Excel & word have their own individual product key. The one you refer to on
your laptop will be for either Windows XP or Vista. The product key for your
excel/word software is usually on the box the disc was supplied in. Or with
the documents you received with your laptop, if they were pre-installed.
