My Publisher Cannot Open Files

I recently installed publisher and created a new publication. I worked
on it, saved it, and turned everything off. I came back today and
noticed that the file (or any publisher file for that matter) can't be
opened. When I first click on the file to be opened, Publisher comes up
and shows this:

Then, after I find the file in "the dialog box", I get this:

Can anyone help me? It's important that I am able to open that file...

Is this version 2002?
If so is it updated to Service Pack 3 level?
And are you running the "proven to corrupt pub files" Norton Anti-Virus?
